Enjoy a delightful day in Farmington viewing art produced by Farmington artists at the Hill-Stead Museum, Stanley-Whitman House, St. James Episcopal Church, the Farmington Historical Society, and the Lewis Walpole Library.  The Memento Mori Cemetery on Main Street will also be featured on the tour.  Tickets include admission to the above locations, trolley rides, a luncheon at Porter Memorial, an exceptional exhibit of 18th and 19th century Farmington art on display at the Barney Library open to ticket holders and a wine and music reception from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm (also at the Barney Library).  Click here to read more from the Hartford Courant about this fantastic event.

A Patron Reception will be held at “The Gundy” on June 1st from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Here is a chance to visit a house owned by Theodate Pope which also served as a tearoom for Miss Porter students.  Descendants of Farmington artists will be in attendance.

Patron tickets are $250 and include two tickets to the above events as well as an invitation to the Patron Reception.

Individual tickets for June 2nd are $75 for all of the events from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and use of the trolley.

Don’t miss this exhibit which includes works of art from several museums, including the New Britain Museum of American Art and the Wadsworth Atheneum.  The proceeds from this event will help to fund the rebuilding of the Phinehas Lewis, Jr., House next to the Elijah Lewis House at 1 Mountain Spring Road to provide new headquarters for the Farmington Historical Society to better serve our Farmington community.
