Earth Day “Through Indigenous Eyes”

A Look At The Day!

-NightHawk Flying will give a brief introduction of Earth Day/Good Stewardship and what it means to the Indigenous Peoples.

-He will sing a special Native Song and Prayer for the tree planting at cottages, all are  welcome and encouraged to participate 

-NightHawk Flying regales our community with more Traditional Native American singing/songs and this lays a foundation for our walk to the Cowles Property on the Pequabuck River. (10 min walk)

-Once at the water, there is a prayer/blessing and Water Song by NightHawk who will make another statement about “Good Stewardship.”  

-We will continue with another tree planting at the Cowles Property, where once again, the community is encouraged to join in.

-The finale culminates with a “Community Conversation”  of  questions and answers.

-Festivities end with refreshments.
