Theodate Pope Riddle

Theodate Pope Riddle was an American architect. She was one of the first American women architects as well as a survivor of the Lusitania. A graduate of Miss Porter’s School, she was the architect of Hill Stead in Farmington as well as  many other well know buildings.  She died in Farmington on August 30, 1946
