Event Date : 2017 Oct Sun
Travel back to the 17th century and hear what five women accused of witchcraft have to say. Award-winning actress Virginia Wolf brings them to life, fully costumed, fully incensed, fully frightened.
Painstakingly researched, “Panic in Connecticut: Accused Witches Have Their Say” is a one-woman show that sheds light on the puritan society that condemned so-called witches to their deaths thirty years before the hysterics of Salem, Massachusetts.
This special presentation for the benefit of the Farmington Historical Society is slated for 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29th at Porter Memorial on Main Street in Farmington. Proceeds from this next in our series of events highlighting unique facets of Farmington’s history will support our Expansion plan.
The performance will include wine and cheese refreshments and an opportunity for a talk back with the cast/director/playwright. It promises to be an enriching and entertaining evening!
